What is Searchable PDF?

Searchable PDF indicates that the scanned document (resulting in PDF format) has been processed via optical character recognition (OCR) and you can search the entire file for occurrences of a word or phrase.
You can instantly search documents for keywords or phrases.
Searchable PDF provides more security, reliable and easy transit/exchange of the documents.
It will preserve the look and integrity of the ori
